This lens has been minimized in size and weight and can easily be used at the 400mm end with
today's faster emulsions. The optics have a built-in flare cutter mechanism which remove
unnecessary light (flare) and gives clean, sharp images. Adding a dedicated bayonet lens hood,
designed for maximum coverage, further eliminates flare.
